Resumo: Através de uma experiência de intercâmbio para Dinamarca, em que vivenciei uma cultura do Sport for all, alguns questionamentos nasceram e me motivaram a querer investigar esta cultura esportiva. O movimento Sport for all surgiu na Noruega no ano de 1967.

Abstract: Through an experience of study exchange to Denmark, where I experienced a culture of Sport for all, some questions were born and motivated me to want to investigate this sporting culture. The Sport for All movement has emerged in Norway in 1967. The Norwegian initiative for this new look at how to manage and provide access to the sport, sparked interest in other European countries, giving rise to the first international meeting to discuss the matter further in 1967 in Germany. Representatives from Norway, Sweden, Belgium and Germany for the first time discussed the possibility of implementing programs within this new philosophy of playing sports, that was developing. From this meeting, the Sport for All movement has expanded across Europe, also reaching the United States and Canada. At that time the movement spread, gaining supporters who began to incorporate it, think it, and build it in different ways, depending on the particularities of each country, also expanding to countries around the world. In this study, we analyze four examples of the Sport for All movement, seeking what is common to them, and also I me appropriate the conception of Gymnastics and Sports Association of Denmark (DGI), to think the sport in a democratic perspective of access. The investigation was conducted through a literature review on what has been published on the subject, and for analysis of the DGI, I used as sources of personal documents and the site DGI. The Research shows that media and publicity, are tools used by governments to spread the ideals of Sport for All movement in the four campaigns studied, for such understanding and analysis of this phenomenon, I me appropriate to the concept of Adorno's Culture Industry. What is used to justify the implementation of the new political and sports philosophy adopted, are the benefits that physical activity, sport or corporal practice to bring health and welfare of the collective over which is the responsibility of the individual seek and manage such benefits
