Resumo: O objetivo nesta pesquisa foi avaliar in vitro através da fotoelasticidade, as tensões induzidas em protocolos com implantes inclinados (conceito All-on-Four) e paralelos, utilizados em prótese sobre implantes mandibulares com infraestruturas confeccionadas em titânio, soldadas a laser e submetidos à carga distal. Os protocolos foram confeccionados com barras de titânio com 3 mm de diâmetro (Conexão Sistemas de Prótese - SP) soldados sobre 2 modelos-mestres em gesso especial (Durone-Dentsply) sendo: 1 modelo com quatro implantes dispostos de forma paralela (GP) e 1 modelo com quatro implantes, sendo dois mesiais dispostos de forma paralela e dois distais inclinados, instalados segundo o protocolo All-on-four (GI). A disposição dos implantes em número de quatro (GP) possuem perfurações eqüidistantes e paralelas entre si, seguindo a média do espaço intra-foramidal de acordo com o posicionamento encontrado para o sistema Branemark®. No caso do grupo inclinado (GI), a instalação dos quatro implantes foi feita segundo o guia All-on-four da Nobel Biocare®. Todos os implantes Master Screw (Conexão Sistemas de Prótese - SP) eram hexágonos externos e diâmetro regular (3,75mm X 13 mm). Foi confeccionado um modelo com três paredes planas, em resina fotoelástica (Araldite - Araltec) de cada um dos protocolos, permitindo a quantificação das tensões em cada implante, por meio da técnica fotoelástica de transmissão plana. Após carga de 100 Ncm sobre área de cantilever das infra-estruturas, as tensões foram registradas e analisadas em polariscópio circular acoplado a uma máquina fotográfica digital (Cyber-Shot DSC-717 - Sony) que captou as imagens. Os resultados evidenciaram que a infraestrutura do GI apresentou maior número de franjas especialmente sobre os implantes inclinados distais. O grupo com implantes paralelos demonstrou melhor distribuição das tensões após a aplicação do carregamento distal

Abstract: The aim of this study was to evaluate in vitro by photoelasticity, the stresses induced in inclined implant protocols (All-on-Four) and parallel, used in mandibular implant prosthesis with infrastructure made of titanium, laser welded and subjected distal load. The protocols were made of titanium bars with 3mm diameter (Conexao Sistemas de Protese - SP) soldiers on two models-masters in special gypsum (Dentsply-Durone) where: a model with four implants arranged in parallel (GP) and a model with four implants, two of them arranged in parallel mesial and two distal inclined, constructed according to the protocol All-on-four (GI). The provision of implants in number four (GP) have holes equidistant and parallel to each other, according to the average of the intra-foramidal according to the position found for the Branemark system ®. In the case of tilted group (IG), the installation of the four implants was made according to the guide All-on-four Nobel Biocare ®. All implants Master Screw (Conexao Sistemas de Protese - SP) were regular hexagons and external diameter (3.75 mm X 13 mm). A model was built with three flat walls in photoelastic resin (Araldite - Araltec) from each of the protocols, allowing the quantification of stress in each implant by means of technical transmission photoelastic flat. After loading about 100 Ncm cantilever area of infrastructure, the tensions were recorded and analyzed in a circular polariscope coupled to a digital camera (Cyber-Shot DSC-717 - Sony) that captured the images. The results showed that the infrastructure of GI presented more especially on the fringes inclined distal implants. The group with parallel implants showed better stress distribution after the application of distal loading
