Resumo: A Ginástica Artística feminina está passando por uma fase de exposição na mídia muito importante para sua massificação. Nos últimos anos a Ginástica Artística feminina nacional apresentou, e continua apresentando, resultados muito significativos no cenário internacional, nunca antes alcançados. As vitórias conquistadas pelas ginastas brasileiras, especialmente Danielle Hypólito e Daiane dos Santos, trouxeram a Ginástica Artística aos jornais e telejornais. Estes resultados levam a refletir sobre a situação regional frente ao crescimento nacional. Como funciona a Ginástica Artística feminina competitiva na região de Campinas? Ela de fato existe? Quem se destaca? O objetivo deste trabalho não é definir a melhor ou a pior forma de manter uma equipe de Ginástica Artística com foco competitivo, e sim relatar a situação atual da região sob os olhos dos atuais treinadores das equipes selecionadas e, a partir de então, traçar paralelos que possam justificar os resultados de tais equipes. Este trabalho consiste em análises dos questionários entregues aos treinadores das equipes pesquisadas que possam elucidar as questões relacionadas acima. Desenvolvendo este trabalho, observou-se que as três cidades com maior destaque nos Jogos Abertos do Interior de São Paulo dos últimos 5 anos são Paulínia, Campinas e Americana. Após análise do questionário entregue aos Técnicos e aos Assistentes Técnicos destas três cidades, concluiu-se que as cidades têm problemas comuns que as impedem de melhorar seus resultados. Os principais problemas encontrados foram: falta de verbas (com ausência de patrocínio); materiais insuficientes ou em más condições; e baixo número de profissionais contratados para desenvolver a modalidade na cidade. Abstract: The women's Artistic Gymnastic is going through a very important phase of mass participation through its exposition in media. In the last few years the national women's Artistic Gymnastic has presented very significant results in the international scenario, never achieved before. The victories conquered by the Brazilian's gymnastics, especially Danielle Hypólito and Daiane dos Santos, have brought the Artistic Gymnastic to the mass communication. These results take us to a thought about the regional situation against the national growth. How does the competitive women's Artistic Gymnastic work in the Campinas region? Does it exist at ali? Who is pointed out? The purpose of this work is not to define the better or the worth way to keep a competitive Artistic Gymnastic team, but to describe the actual situation of the region under the eyes of the selected teams coaches and, from that on, make comparisons that can justify the results of these teams. This work consists in analysis of the questionnaire given to the searched teams coaches that can elucidate the questions related above. Working on this paper, it's been shown that the three cities with most prominence of the last 5 years are Paulínia, Campinas and Americana. After analysis of the questionnaire given to these three cities coaches and assistant coaches, it is concluded that the cities have common problems that stop them getting better results. The mainly issues founded were: lack of money 0ack of sponsoring); not enough materials or in bad conditions; and not enough professionals hired to develop the activity in the city.
