Resumo: Este estudo procura discernir alguns aspectos importantes sobre a globalização e a regionalização. O papel do Investimento Externo Direto e seus riscos e implicações também fazem parte do objeto a ser analisado. O Mercosul é o pano de fundo da análise, e as empresas e suas estratégias são o alvo principal. Porém não existem estratégias "mágicas" nem soluções para todos os casos. A Economia mundial é dinâmica e as transformações são constantes. Os países têm diferentes legislações, diferentes graus de internacionalização, diferentes graus de industrialização e diferentes culturas. O que impede de existir mesmas soluções para os mesmos setores, mas não impede que as empresas queiram investir nesta ou naquela região, afinal todas possuem vantagens e desvantagens Ver menos
