Resumo: Esse artigo procurou mostrar como Argemiro Gabriel de Figueiredo Coimbra (1866-1899) cria a série humorística Diálogos, com características da crônica e do teatro. A coluna foi publicada de julho de 1895 a janeiro de 1899 no periódico carioca A Notícia, somando um total de 467 textos. O corpus do trabalho, que resultou a dissertação "As crônicas dialogadas de Figueiredo Coimbra: entre o jornalismo e o teatro", versou sobre 133 crônicas, referente ao ano de 1895, que foram anotadas, com indicações dos acontecimentos históricos da data de publicação de cada crônica. Os Diálogos, que possuíam eminente caráter estético e artístico, realizavam uma representação literária do cotidiano dos cariocas no final do século XIX. Coimbra aproveita a sua experiência como dramaturgo para inserir em suas crônicas as estruturas e convenções que faziam sucesso no teatro. Abstract: This article aims to show how Argemiro Gabriel de Figueiredo Coimbra (1866-1899) creates his humoristic series Diálogos by mixing characteristics of the genres chronicle and theater. This series was published between July-1895 and January-1899 in the Rio de Janeiro's newspaper A Notícia, and it reaches a sum of 467 texts. In the dissertation, there are 133 chronicles from the year of 1895, which form the corpus of this work. These texts accompany explications concerning the themes and the characters discussed on them.The central theme is the everyday of the end of the nineteenth century. This literary column can still today draw the readers attention because of its remarkable aesthetic and artistic character Coimbra uses his experience as a theater writer to insert in his chronicles the structures and conventions that were successful in the theater. In these short texts, we can fing registered part of the history of the customs in the Rio de Janeiro, with the spontaneity of the chronicle and with the agility of the comic sketches of the revues and of the other comic dramatic forms Ver menos
