Resumo: Este estudo teve o objetivo de investigar os parâmetros acústicos de oclusivas glotais e sua relação com julgamentos perceptivos realizados por profissionais experientes, a partir das gravações de leituras feitas por cinco adultos com fissura palatina. A análise acústica foi realizada quando pelo menos três juízes identificaram a presença da oclusiva glotal. A presença ou ausência dos parâmetros acústicos burst e formante de transição, em relação à avaliação perceptiva dos juízes, permitiu o levantamento de uma hipótese explicativa principal: a utilização de diferentes válvulas laríngeas pelos sujeitos. Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between acoustic parameters of glottal stops produced by adults with cleft palate and perceptual judgments by experts. The acoustic analysis of glottal stop was conducted when at least three judges identified the presence of glottal stop. The presence or absence of acoustic parameters burst and formant transition in relation to the perceptual evaluation of the judges allowed us to raise a major explanatory hypothesis: the use of different laryngeal valves by the subjects.
