Resumo: Resultado de uma trajetória acadêmica iniciada entre 2006 e 2010, no curso de Normal em Nível Médio de formação de professores indígenas para o magistério intercultural da Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso (Unemat), e que chega até o Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação (PPGE) da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp), este trabalho atravessa aspectos cosmogônicos e simbólicos de perspectivas culturais experenciadas e vivenciadas em conjunto pelo povo Wauja do Alto Xingu, Mato Grosso. Por meio de relatos de experiência – ligados à minha autoria –, acervos e memórias registradas sobre o povo Wauja, acesso os saberes ancestrais, presentes na oralidade de nosso povo. Pensando em promover reflexões, debates e divulgação sobre a cultura, a história e a memória, as informações aqui compiladas dizem respeito ao meu contato com a ancestralidade Wauja, que marcam as aldeias das comunidades a partir de diálogos estabelecidos com os anciões e demais membros, bem como pelas mobilizações de saberes evocados nas salas de aula onde atuei enquanto docente junto às novas gerações dessa etnia. Desse modo, a organização desta pesquisa reúne referencial bibliográfico do qual me aproximei ao longo de toda minha formação, relatos de experiências essenciais para contextualização de meu ponto de partida, assim como de ilustrações ligadas à cosmogonia Wauja elaboradas por diversos membros das 8 comunidades desse povo e dão cor aos fatos aqui elencados Ver menos

Abstract: The result of an academic trajectory that began between 2006 and 2010, in the High School Normal Course for the training of indigenous teachers for intercultural teaching at the State University of Mato Grosso (Unemat), and which continued through the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGE) of the School of Education at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), this work examines cosmogonic and symbolic aspects of cultural perspectives experienced and lived together by the Wauja people of the Upper Xingu, in Mato Grosso. Through experience reports, linked to my authorship, and collections and memories previously gathered by other researchers dedicated to the Wauja people, I access the ancestral knowledge, present in the oral tradition of our people, and bring it together in this dissertation. As a tool for reflection, debate and dissemination about our culture, history and memory, the information compiled here concerns my contact with the Wauja ancestry that marks the villages of the communities, based on dialogues established with the elders and other members of them, as well as through the mobilization of knowledge evoked in the classrooms where I worked as a teacher with the new generations of this ethnic group. Thus, the organization of this research brings together bibliographic references that I approached throughout my training and that make sense to this work, especially in the areas of History, Anthropology and Education; reports of experiences essential for contextualizing my starting point and return to the classroom of my community, as well as illustrations linked to the Wauja cosmogony created by several members of the 8 communities of this people and give color to the facts listed here Ver menos
