Resumo: Esta pesquisa parte de uma busca insistente em apreender a condição humana no tempo, com foco em entender, por meio da arte, a percepção do tempo na contemporaneidade. A partir de séries fotográficas de minha autoria, obras de outros artistas e textos de vários pensadores tais como historiadores, filósofos, geógrafos, é apresentado um recorte imagético e conceitual sobre a percepção do tempo, as diferentes temporalidades, modos de olhar, relação do ser humano com seu meio circundante. A pesquisa está organizada em três capítulos, sendo que cada um inicia-se com a análise de uma produção artística minha. No primeiro capítulo Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Carlo Rovelli, George Didi-Huberman, Henri Bergson, Gaston Bachelard, Rosalind Krauss, Mauricio Lissovsky e Hiroshi Sugimoto amparam a reflexão sobre percepções do tempo, instante, duração e fotografia. O segundo capítulo aborda questões sobre modos de olhar, criação de paisagens internas e externas, mundo mediado por aparelhos, a partir de autores como Walter Benjamin, Javier Maderuelo, Jorge Larossa, Yi-Fu Tuan, Vilém Flusser e Joan Fontcuberta e Tehching Hsieh. O terceiro capítulo trata da destrutiva relação do ser humano com a natureza, seu impacto, a velocidade na contemporaneidade, a falta de narrativa, de contemplação, amparada por Bruno Latour, Didi-Huberman, Ailton Krenak, Anna Tsing, Paul Crutzen, Jonathan Crary, Byung-Chul Han, Walter Benjamin, Cecilia Salles e Frans Krajcberg. Pensar o tempo e a imagem, o ser humano e a natureza, a partir da oportunidade da pesquisa acadêmica voltada para o campo artístico e de minha produção fotográfica, que parte de um modo de olhar permeado pela contemplação, pelos ciclos, pela ação do tempo. Trata-se de compilar percepções poéticas sobre a maneira como a humanidade contempla o mundo através do olhar, do corpo e dessa forma compreende, pensa e afeta seu entorno. Abstract: This research starts from an insistent quest to understand the human condition in time, with a focus on understanding, through art, the perception of time in contemporary times. Using some of my photographic series, works by other artists and texts by thinkers and philosophers, it presents an imagery and conceptual approach to the perception of time, different temporalities, ways of looking and the relationship between human beings and their surroundings. The research is organized into three chapters, each one begins with an analysis of an artistic production of mine. In the first chapter, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Carlo Rovelli, George Didi-Huberman, Henri Bergson, Gaston Bachelard, Rosalind Krauss, Mauricio Lissovsky and Hiroshi Sugimoto support the reflection on perceptions of time, instant, duration and photography. The second chapter addresses questions about ways of looking, the creation of internal and external landscapes, and the world mediated by devices, based on authors such as Walter Benjamin, Javier Maderuelo, Jorge Larossa, Yi-Fu Tuan, Vilém Flusser and Joan Fontcuberta and Tehching Hsieh. The third chapter deals with the destructive relationship between human beings and nature, its impact, speed in contemporary times, the lack of narrative and contemplation, supported by Bruno Latour, Didi-Huberman, Ailton Krenak, Anna Tsing, Paul Crutzen, Jonathan Crary, Byung-Chul Han, Walter Benjamin, Cecilia Salles and Frans Krajcberg. Thinking about time and image, human beings and nature from the opportunity of academic research focused on the artistic field and my photographic production, from a way of looking permeated by contemplation, cycles and the action of time. It’s about compiling poetic perceptions of the way humanity contemplates the world through the gaze, through the body, and in this way understands, thinks about and affects its surroundings.
