Resumo: A Pandemia relacionada ao COVID-19 impactou a sociedade mundial, especialmente no campo da área da saúde, exigindo um novo olhar sobre as estratégias adotadas pelo modelo de atendimento remoto mais intensivo, vinculado aos novos padrões de Telemedicina. Nesse contexto, este artigo visa analisar a evolução e tendências de iniciativas de Telemedicina no Brasil e no Mundo, para melhor compreensão do nível de maturidade dos diferentes países em relação a assistência médica remota e seus benefícios para a sociedade e sistemas de saúde como um todo. Abstract: The pandemic related to COVID-19 has impacted world society, especially in the field of health, requiring a new look at the strategies adopted by the more intensive remote care model, linked to the new telemedicine standards. In this context, this article aims to analyze the evolution and trends of Telemedicine initiatives in Brazil and in the World, to better understand the level of maturity of different countries in relation to remote medical assistance and its benefits for society and health systems as a whole. .
