Resumo: O presente artigo é resultado da disciplina Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica (PHC) e prática transformadora ofertada pelo Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas "História, Sociedade e Educação no Brasil" (HISTEDBR), que instigou a refletir sobre alguns pressupostos teóricos metodológicos da PHC e a Educação do Campo para o processo de formação dos sujeitos envolvidos na realidade do campo brasileiro. Compreendemos que há muitos elementos em comuns entre a PHC e a proposta pedagógica da Educação do Campo, pois ambas têm como principal objetivo uma perspectiva revolucionária de formação humana, voltada à transformação social na perspectiva socialista. Abstract: This article is the result of the discipline Historical-Critical Pedagogy (PHC) and transformative practive offered by the Study and Research Group "History, Society and Education in Brazil"(HISTEDBR), which instigated to reflect on some theoretical and methodological assumptions of PHC and the Rural Education for the training processo f subjects involved in the reality of the brazilian countryside.
