Abstract: We introduce the Dirac-Hestenes spinor fields (DHSF) as particular sections of the Clif- ford bundle over Minkowski space-time. We show through its canonical decomposition that the DHSF creates an effective Riemann-Cartan geometry on the Lorentz vacuum. The rotor components of the DHSF create a geometry with non-vanishing torsion but vanishing curvature. We construct the Weyl transformation by the action of an amplitude in the canonical decomposition of the DHSF. Hence we introduce metric compatible Riemann-Cartan-Weyl structures. Therefore, we obtain effective Riemann- Cartan geometries (RCG) associated with the full structure of the DHSF. We discuss its relation with the gauge theory of defects, in particular those of topological kind. Finally, by writing the Dirac-Hestenes equation in the effective RCG, we discuss briefly the relation between these Riemann-Cartan geome- tries and the Stochastic Mechanics of DHSF quantum ensembles, which in this theory receives a purely geometric treatment
