Resumo: A teoria da escola significativa é fundamentada em três pilares: o aluno, o professor e a família. O objetivo principal deste trabalho é abordar alguns fundamentos dessa teoria, relacionando-os aos cenários escolares presentes nos sete livros de Harry Potter, de modo a problematizar as experiências educativas das personagens da saga, à luz de tais fundamentos. A pesquisa foi bibliográfica, comparando as ideias propostas por Villela e Archangelo com os cenários da Escola de Magia e Bruxaria de Hogwarts, descritos por Rowling. Estes constroem, por assim dizer, uma metáfora sobre o cotidiano escolar e nos dão um excelente panorama de como um colégio pode ser significativo ou não para o aluno, de como a família se insere nesse contexto e, por fim, de como o professor é fundamental para a experiência educativa e para o amadurecimento do aluno Ver menos

Abstract: The significant school theory is based on three pillars: the student, the teacher and the family. The main objective of this document is to abort some fundamentals of this theory relating them to the school scenarios present in the seven Harry Potter books. In order to problematize the educational experiences of the characters in the saga, in the light of such foundations. The research was bibliographical due to the comparison of the proposals made by Villela and Archangelo with the scenarios of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry described by Rowling. It forms a metaphor for everyday school life and gives us excellent content on how a school can be meaningful or not for the student, how the family fits into this context and, finally, how the teacher is fundamental to the educational experience and for student maturation.
