Resumo: Neste estudo investigamos como vem se desenvolvendo a prática educativa de professores que deram aulas de álgebra elementar. Também procuramos identificar, por meio das reflexões e percepções dos professores, os momentos que provocaram mudanças em suas práticas e concepções. Na verdade buscamos conhecer o conteúdo e a forma das reflexões desses professores. Para este estudo tomamos como fio condutor a seguinte pergunta: Como o professor de matemática relata sua prática educativa em álgebra elementar, historicamente produzida, e quais as reflexões que ele faz sobre isso? Alguns resultados da pesquisa mostram que ao retomar os dados disponíveis de sua trajetória profissional, e ao narrar/descrever sobre sua prática educativa passada, o professor produz reflexões. Entretanto, dependendo de sua formação continuada, alguns percebem com mais clareza, tanto as mudanças ocorridas no ensino da álgebra elementar como as transformações de sua própria prática pedagógica Ver menos

Abstract: The present study investigates how the educational practice has been developed by professionals who teache elementary algebra class, and attempts to identify, by means of these teachers' perception and reflection, the moments that led them to transform their pedagogical performance and conceptions. Indeed, we want to understand the content and the form the their reflection. For this purpose we have the following guided question: How does the mathematics teacher report his/her educational experiences on elementary algebra, historically produced, and what kind of reflection they have about this process? The results demonstrate that when recovering available data of his/her professional path and reporting on his/her past educational experience, the teacher brings forth reflection.
