Crítica ao sensível na teoria da alma racional de René Descartes

Abstract

Resumo: A presente tese tem por objetivo elucidar duas questões. A primeira: considerando a Filosofia primeira de Descartes, há uma ligação congênita entre a crítica ao sensível, a descoberta do cogito, o exame de sua natureza e a constituição da teoria da alma racional? A segunda, subordinada à primeira: no acontecer filosófico da descoberta do ego, no exame de sua natureza e na inspeção do sensível, é promovido um rebaixamento ontológico do valor do sensível em relação ao primado da alma ou do espírito? Na articulação dessas duas questões, enfocando, sobretudo, a "Segunda meditação", buscaremos elucidar o papel da crítica ao sensível na teoria da alma racional de René Descartes

Abstract: This thesis aims to clarify two issues. The first: considering the First Philosophy of Descartes, is there a congenital link between the criticism of the sensitive, the discovery of the cogito, the examination of its nature and the formation of the rational soul¿s theory? The second is subordinate to the former: on the philosophical happen of the ego discovery, on the examination of its nature and in the inspection of the sensitive, is it promoted an ontological lowering on the sensitive value in relation to the primacy of the soul or spirit? Articulating these issues, focusing especially on the "Second Meditation", we will clarify the role of criticism in the sensitive in René Descartes¿ theory of the rational soul
