| Abstract: | A system which was built to test the photomultipliers (PMT) of the Auger fluorescence detector was described. The system was designed to provide comprehensive acceptance tests for the PMT units by measuring all the relevant parameters to be collected in the PMT data base. The results obtained from the first batch of about 1000 (PMT) of the first two telescopes were also presented. |
